The Maharashtra state players for IPL 2023 have been finalized and here is the list of players in ascending order. The Chennai Super Kings have picked up Mukesh Choudhary, Tushar Deshpande, Ajinkya Rahane, Prashant Solanki, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, and Shivam Dube, all of whom have been bought for a sum of 20 lakhs or $40k each. The Delhi Capitals have added Sarfaraz Khan, Aman Hakim Khan, Vicky Ostwal, and Prithvi Shaw to their team, all of whom were purchased for a similar price of 20 lakhs or $40k each. The Gujarat Titans have chosen Darshan Nalkande, while the Mumbai Indians have roped in Shams Mulani and Arjun Tendulkar for 20 lakhs and 30 lakhs or $50k, respectively. Jitesh Sharma and Atharva Taide have been picked up by the Punjab Kings for 20 lakhs each.

Suryakumar Yadav, who was bought by the Mumbai Indians for 8 crores or $1.5m, is the most expensive player among the Maharashtra players, followed by Rahul Tripathi, who has been purchased by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for 8.5 crores or $1.5m. Shardul Thakur and Shreyas Iyer have been picked up by the Kolkata Knight Riders for 10.75 crores or $2m and 12.25 crores or $2.2m, respectively. Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Mumbai Indians, is the highest-paid Maharashtra player in IPL 2023, with a whopping salary of 16 crores or $2.9m.


This year, a total of 22 talented players from the state have been included in the various IPL team squads, showcasing the immense cricketing talent that Maharashtra has to offer.
