Pakistan can still qualify for the semi-finals of the T20 world cup 2022 but they have to do a lot of hard work and pray for other results to go their way. In terms of India’s perspective, India has 4 points from 3 matches and If India loses to Bangladesh and wins against zimbabwe then Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh will have 6 points each and the one with the most run rate will qualify for the semi-finals. If India loses both matches then India will be out of the tournament and both Pakistan and Bangladesh will have 6 points but If Zimbabwe won their match against India and Netherlands then Zimbabwe will have 7 points and they will qualify with South Africa.
From Zimbabwe’s perspective, if India loses to Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe loses to the Netherlands, Pakistan can qualify with 6 points. If Bangladesh beats India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh both will have 6 points. If India defeats Bangladesh, India will secure a semi-final spot with 6 points, and the position will be determined based on the net run rate.
In terms of Bangladesh’s perspective If Bangladesh wins against India then both Pakistan and Bangladesh will have 6 points and if India won against Zimbabwe then India will also have 6 points then the semi-final spot will be decided based on the run rate.
5 out of 6 teams from the group have the chance to make it to the semi-finals. Pakistan still has a very good chance to make it to the semi-finals.
